Arrivo Primo Singapura (APS)
Often referred to as “the Steve McQueen’s of cycling”, Arrivo Primo Singapura (APS) is a Singapore based Triathlon and Cycling Team formed in 2013.
The 42 men and women in APS come from Singapore, America, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Denmark, England, Wales, Scotland and Turkey, and race in age groups ranging from 20-24 to 55-59.
In 2015 they have team members competing at the Kona World Ironman Championships in Hawaii, Long Course World Championships in Sweden, ITU Olympic Distance World Championships in Chicago and many other Sprint, Olympic, 70.3 and Ironman distance races in Asia, Australasia and Europe. The team is also racing several cycling races across the region, culminating in November 2015 with the Tour de Bintan.
In 2014 the APS Podium count was 71 and they have a rapidly growing number in 2015. Despite all the success the team is having, at its heart is a group of like minded individuals who are experts at keeping the right balance between the social and competitive side of racing.
